Who we are…

Sola Gratia Classical Academy Inc. (SGCA) is a hybrid homeschooling community that employs the content of a classical curriculum and the pedagogy of intentional learning embodied by the word scholé. The word scholé (pronounced skoh-LAY) comes from a Greek word that means “restful learning,” with the connotation of “contemplation,” “conversation,” and “reflection.”  Restful learning in this ancient context was the diligent and purposeful development of the mind, body and soul of a student.  Our mission is to pursue deep engagement that results in enjoyable, permanent learning.

We strive for excellence in the classical tradition!
